A Weik.io workspace is your own Weik.io installation at <name>.weikio.cloud, upgraded and backed up by the Weik.io Cloud team, with cloud agents in Helsinki and your own sites connected to it.
What you get
Every workspace has:
- An address of its own at
<name>.weikio.cloudwith the admin UI, the API and the gateway - Weik.io 2026.2 with every feature, the same release you can install yourself under the Apache License 2.0
- Upgrades to each release in the maintenance window you choose
- Backups every 6 hours, with the newest 7 kept
- Cloud agents in Helsinki in three sizes, and more of them whenever you need them
- Agents at your own sites that connect out on port 443 and open no inbound port
- Gateways that answer on your own hostnames with your own certificates or certificates the workspace obtains
- Sign-in through Microsoft Entra ID or any OpenID Connect provider

How it connects to Weik.io
The workspace is a Weik.io installation, so the weikio CLI, your GitOps workflows, the University videos and the docs work with it as they are. You sign in with weikio login https://<name>.weikio.cloud and deploy with the same commands you use on your own servers.
A workspace runs the same Weik.io you can install yourself, so everything on weik.io and in the docs applies to it.

Questions
Can I move from a self-hosted Weik.io?
Yes, with weikio export on your own installation and weikio apply against the workspace, which moves every integration and setting as YAML.
Can integrations run inside my network?
Yes, on an agent at your site. The agent connects out to the workspace on port 443, and your firewall needs no inbound rule for it.
Which Camel versions run?
The same Camel lines as the Weik.io release, 4.18.5 and 4.22.1, side by side.
What happens to my workspace at an upgrade?
The Weik.io Cloud team upgrades it to each release in the maintenance window you set in its settings, and the workspace keeps its address, its integrations and its history.
Can I leave and run Weik.io myself?
Yes, because weikio export writes every integration and setting as YAML that applies to your own installation. Weik.io is open source under the Apache License 2.0.
